I earned my first radioamateur license category C late 1975 and was given the call sign OZ1BII. This I upgraded to category B in 1976 and in 1989 I moved to a new home and got my B license renewed.
For many years I have been off the air but after retiring in 2011 I became active again and upgraded to the A-license. Since 2011 I got some more call signs for use in upcoming contests and for expeditions.

My interests are: HF, CW and Contest Shortwave, Telegraphy and Radiosport.

Another great interest is traveling and I love to travel with my radio and some simple antennas. For now it has lead me to be active from IT, OX, ZA, 9H, ZF, CT3 and D4.
My traveling backpack includes my elder Elecraft K3, 100 Watt with ATU, my Lenovo X301 notebook with UcxLog program, my 10 meter DX-Wire mini fiberglass mast and different wires for antennas.

For now I have been in theese countries.
